Design, develop, test, and evaluate electrical, mechanical, and/or computer components, equipment, and systems. Provide innovative methods and technical solutions using the engineering design process. Plan implementation of enhancements. Clearance Requirements:
Must currently possess Top Secret SCI + Polygraph; able to obtain Top Secret SCI + Polygraph. Experience:
0+ years of related experience. Key Responsibilities:
Perform advanced engineering work related to the design, evaluation, planning, testing, and operation of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and/or computer systems for various applications. Analyze customer requirements and develop technical solutions to complex problems. Maintain equipment and system integrity while ensuring policy compliance. Coordinate hardware/software acquisition and subcontractor services as needed. Technical Proficiency:
Proficient in grasping and applying new information quickly. Experience with C/C++, assembler reading/writing, Linux, and VxWorks real-time OS. Involvement in Protocol Analysis, Vulnerability Assessment, Security Research, Rapid Prototyping. Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of OS fundamentals (interrupts, threading, virtual memory, device drivers), low-level programming in Unix/Linux/Windows, Reverse Engineering tools, creative thinking, team collaboration. Additional Requirements:
6+ years in system requirements analysis, software design, development, integration, or testing; 5+ years in embedded software development, OS internals, reverse engineering, low-level device driver programming, data analysis, or systems engineering. Additional Details:
Salary range $144,410 - $195,378, full-time, onsite in Hanover, MD, less than 10% travel, US citizenship required. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), flexible work, paid time off, disability, life insurance, and more. Company Overview:
