Job Title: Logistics Manager (1099 Contractor)
Location: Remote with 25% travel to government sites
Clearance Required: Secret (TS/SCI eligible preferred, DIA Adjudicated preferred)
Duration: Temporary Contract 6 months with contract extension option
Pay Type: 1099 Contractor
Reporting to: Program Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a Logistics Manager to lead end-to-end material management for a complex IT hardware deployment across multiple government sites. This individual will be responsible for developing the Logistics Plan and managing procurement, shipping, inventory, staging, and vendor coordination.
Essential Functions:
Coordinate all activities related to the MBOM and IBOM
Develop the Logistics Plan in partnership with Program Manager
Coordinate shipping, receipt, staging, and delivery to each deployment site
Track vendor deliveries and address supply chain issues
Ensure all materials meet site readiness and deployment timelines
Manage integration with subcontractors and field personnel
Facilitate planning meetings and assist in deliverables preparation
Manage procurement, shipping, inventory, and delivery of vendor products to fulfill this Task Order
Ensure timely execution of site surveys, installations, and testing/acceptance efforts
Collaborate with engineering and logistics teams for smooth field deployments
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT logistics or hardware deployment
Experience managing complex federal procurement and staging processes
Familiarity with circuit provisioning, infrastructure design, and installation workflows
Active Secret clearance (TS/SCI eligible preferred, Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Adjudicated orcapableofreciprocal acceptance by DIA)
Experience in procurement of IT hardware
Strong written and verbal communication, including a bias for proactive communication
Excellent stakeholder relationship management a collaborative mindset with cross-functional teamwork skills
Time management and ability to prioritize competing demands
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Comfortable with digital collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, Zoom)
Experience with project/task management platforms (e.g., Asana, Jira, Monday, Microsoft Project)
Physical Requirements:
The work is generally sedentary and performed in an office or remote setting; however, some travel to government or partner sites may be required. The position may require:
Visual acuity to view computer screens, read technical documents, and perform data analysis
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment
Occasional lifting or carrying of equipment, boxes, or documents (typically under 25 lbs)
Ability to hear and speak clearly in virtual and in-person meetings
