https://www.NFP.com . Job Summary The Sr. Vice President has local and regional responsibility for multiple highly complex clients. This Sr. Leadership role reports directly to the Northeast Regional Managing Director. This is an exciting opportunity to shape strategy & expand influence in the Northeast. This newly created position offers a chance to develop a strategic vision and cultivate a powerful network in a region experiencing consistent growth. As a key leader, you will build, innovate, and drive impactful initiatives at the regional level. In this role, you will work with Producers to manage and grow their book of business. You will strategize with Producers to acquire and market new business, ensure seamless renewal processes, and effectively deliver NFP resources to clients. You should have expertise in all commercial coverage lines, with specialized knowledge in Private Equity, Construction, and Real Estate. Experience servicing or overseeing a Commercial Lines Book of Business with large, complex P&C risks is essential. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in NYC, Boston, or Albany, NY. Flexibility is provided, but periodic client visits within the region are expected, making proximity to the NYC tri-state area advantageous. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Drive new business growth in partnership with Producers Maintain relationships with large, complex clients and act as a subject matter expert on Property & Casualty insurance Prepare renewal and new business proposals Visit clients to review insurance programs and introduce new products Handle client requests and coordinate with Advisors and Account Management teams Manage complex client accounts as needed Strategic Responsibilities
Partner with Producers to grow their book, focusing on Real Estate, Construction, and Private Equity Coordinate between Producers and Account Management to deliver services Oversee client deliverables and build effective relationships within NFP Mentor future Strategic Client Managers to support growth New Business Development
Engage prospective clients throughout the sales cycle Assist in closing deals, including proposals and presentations Guide clients on timelines and deliverables Gather and track lead information using Salesforce Marketing and Renewals
Respond to client requests, gather information, and communicate with carriers Coordinate renewal strategies and negotiations Lead proposal meetings and ensure follow-up Client Retention
Organize and conduct mid-year reviews with clients Leverage broader NFP resources for client strategies Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Deep knowledge of commercial property & casualty insurance, especially in Real Estate, Private Equity, and Construction Strong relationship-building and business growth skills Self-motivated with good decision-making and time management Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce Ability to travel within the region and work independently Education and Experience
BA/BS preferred; Master’s degree in a relevant field highly desirable Additional Details
