Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a variable shift assignment, requiring ARRT(R)(CT) certification and at least one year of CT experience.
Responsibilities Work in a hospital radiology department focusing on CT scan proceduresVariable 12-hour shifts across 3 days per weekMay be required to float to any designated location within 60 miles as neededPatient populations and procedures will vary based on assignment locationMust be able to perform IV starts and contrast administration as neededUses Epic for charting, with prior experience preferredResponsibilities include performing high-quality diagnostic imaging, preparing and positioning patients, practicing radiation safety, and assisting with patient flowMay participate in clinical training for students and new staffOn-call coverage may be required based on department or facility policyMust comply with all state, federal, accreditation, and hospital regulationsTravelers must adhere to a one-year maximum assignment, requiring a 30-60 day break before returningAll travelers must receive a flu shot during flu season (Nov 1 – Mar 31), with only medical exemptions allowedCandidates must live at least 60 miles from all assignment locations; local candidates are not eligibleRTO must be disclosed prior to offer; cannot be requested later
