Office of Regulatory Relations The Office of Regulatory Relations safeguards the firm's regulatory reputation by managing relationships with regulators and enhancing compliance standards. We welcome diverse backgrounds interested in the regulatory landscape. Our work includes managing regulatory exams, overseeing remediation initiatives, and establishing firmwide standards. Part of the Office of Regulatory Relations, the Non-Prudential Regulator Team (NPR) interacts with Non-Prudential regulators on examinations and inquiries. Led by an Americas Head in Dallas, the team includes members in Bengaluru, Dallas, and New York. The NPR team seeks an Associate for our NY office to focus on regulatory exams and inquiries related to Goldman Sachs’ U.S. businesses, covering topics like market abuse, regulatory reporting, trading controls, short selling, and supervisory policies. Responsibilities

The NPR team coordinates responses to information requests from U.S. regulators such as the SEC, CFTC, FINRA, and NFA, and occasionally from foreign regulators. The team ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations. As a liaison, team members work closely with various internal departments and regulators, engaging in research, coordinating responses, conducting interviews, preparing documentation, and advising on regulatory expectations. They manage multiple regulatory matters and monitor firm commitments made during examinations. Key Skills

Basic:
