ROLE SUMMARY: The Category Manager for AB ONE will lead efforts to develop and implement category strategies for key retail customers across AB ONE markets. You will collaborate with AB ONE Key Account and Shelf Set teams to create localized strategies; using industry performance and consumer insights to support local account plans to drive retail growth. This role involves working cross-functionally with internal and external partners and developing relationships with local customers to align on Joint Business Plans and Category Management objectives related to shelf space, assortment, pricing, and promotions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and present customized Category Strategies and Joint Business Plan recommendations for key retail customers, based on industry analysis and insights. Utilize syndicated and non-syndicated data sources (IRIS space, Circana, Numerator, Beer Institute, etc.) to identify performance and execution opportunities across AB ONE markets. Provide insights-driven recommendations on beer category space allocation, SKU assortment, and rationalization to retail partners. Collaborate with AB ONE Retail and Shelf Space teams on programming sell-in materials and category proposals. Create sales materials for AB ONE commercial teams to support strategic initiatives. Support Shelf Set Coordinators with training and resources for shelf proposals. Monitor and track shelf space objectives, working with divisions to address opportunities or unmet goals. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in business. Experience in Category Management within consumer goods retail chains. Familiarity with space planning technology, syndicated data, and analytics software (JDA, ShelfIQ, Circana, PowerBI, etc.) is a plus. Knowledge of retail selling initiatives and information-based selling. Ability to analyze large data sets and present impactful insights and recommendations. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Internet. General knowledge of the beverage industry and retail operations.
