ROLE FOCUS: Our Medical Directors (MDs) are servant leaders who uphold a mission guiding each hospital to greatness: maintaining medical excellence the VEG Way. They are experienced emergency veterinarians or Criticalists eager to build and grow their own hospital and team. MDs lead with integrity, authenticity, humility, and high emotional intelligence, emphasizing mentorship and a top-tier customer experience. Their values align with VEG's core principles: Openness, Togetherness, Heroic Helping, and Meaningful Moments. QUALIFICATIONS: DVM, VMD, or equivalent degree required. At least five (5) years of experience in a 24/7 emergency and critical care setting. Strong commitment to medical quality, patient care, and customer satisfaction. Proficiency in emergency surgery and endoscopy preferred. Leadership experience such as Internship Director, Medical Director, or Lead Veterinarian preferred. Servant leader mindsetdedicated to mentoring, pet advocacy, community support, and leading a team of exceptional Emergency Veterinarians.
