Salary: $3400 / Week
Position Overview
Under general supervision, performs vascular and echocardiography ultrasound examinations for patients. Participates in specialized technical evaluation procedures, including analyzing digitized electrocardiography (ECG) tapes, Holter monitoring, cardiac ultrasound, and echocardiography, as well as generating quantitative arrhythmia reports. Minimum Requirements Associates degree or experience in a related field preferred and/or per state requirements. Two (2) years of experience as a Cardiovascular technician preferred. Current CPR certification if applicable. TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray if applicable. Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation). Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements. Must be at least 18 years of age. Machines/EMRs used: Philips machine, EPIC EMR, and PiCom PACS. Required experience: RDS or RDMS certification, at least 1 year of cardiac sonography. Preferred experience: 2+ years of cardiac sonography.
