The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Virginia Health System is seeking applicants for a tenure-eligible faculty position specializing in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The department currently serves as the ophthalmic referral center for central and western Virginia and parts of West Virginia, North Carolina and eastern Tennessee. The abundance of patient volume provides excellent opportunities for advancement in ophthalmology.

Qualifications
Candidates must have a MD and be American Board of Ophthalmology certified or board eligible, and fellowship training is required. The incumbent must be committed to a career in academic medicine and must be interested in combining clinical practice with resident education and/or research. Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
