The VA Portland Health Care System (VAPORHCS) in Portland, OR, is actively recruiting a Board Certified Staff Radiology/Imaging Physician (BE considered) to care for our Veterans. The selected candidate may be considered for a faculty appointment at Oregon Health Sciences University and will be involved in education and teaching of Radiology residents, medical students, medicine residents, and other providers. Located in Portland, OR, VAPORHCS is part of VA Pacific Northwest Network (VISN20), serving over 1 million veterans across Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. It is a major teaching and research site affiliated with OHSU, hosting about 2,000 learners annually and ranking in the top 10 nationwide among VAs in research grant support. Responsibilities
Provide patient-centered, state-of-the-art imaging services including CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine with PET/SPECT CT, X-rays, special procedures, interventional radiology, and neuroradiology. Contribute to education and training of residents, fellows, medical students, and staff. Engage in research activities and professional development. Work Environment
Services are provided at the Main Portland Campus, CBOCs in Hillsboro, Salem, an outpatient imaging center in Vancouver, WA, and a new outpatient center in Vancouver scheduled to open in 2025. The facility offers a comprehensive continuum of care, including inpatient, outpatient, long-term, and emergent services. Qualifications
U.S. citizen with current, full, unrestricted medical license. Board Certified or eligible in Radiology. Strong motivation for research, education, and inter-professional training. Work Details
Full-time, Monday-Friday, 0800-1630, with rotating call. Must be U.S. citizen. Benefits
