The Program Manager is responsible for the fulfillment of organizational programs by coordinating activities to ensure quality and improvement initiatives. They will provide strategic guidance to teams and stakeholders, oversee program operations, and manage communication, rollout, and facilitation of programs. Key Responsibilities
Lead provider contracting processes from initiation to final execution, including contract requests, development, fair market value determination, and approvals for USC Care Medical Group, affiliated physicians, and clinical partnerships. Collaborate with department administrators, legal, compliance, and finance teams to ensure contracts align with institutional goals and comply with applicable laws and regulations. Develop and refine standard operating procedures for contracting to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Provide guidance and training on provider contracting policies and best practices. Serve as a point of contact for contractual issues and collaborate with legal counsel on legal and regulatory concerns. Prepare reports and metrics on contracting activities, compliance, and performance against targets. Stay informed on healthcare contracting trends, provider compensation models, and regulatory changes. Manage communication, program rollout, and facilitation as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field Minimum of 5 years experience in provider contracting, healthcare finance, or administration Strong understanding of healthcare laws and compliance standards (e.g., Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA) Experience with provider compensation benchmarks and contract management software Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Ability to work in a hybrid schedule Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar Licenses/Certifications
Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) – must be obtained within 30 days of hire if not already held Additional Details
Salary range: $95,680 - $158,230 annually. USC considers various factors in salary offers, including experience, education, skills, and internal/external market conditions.
