Business Management Transformation Office Job Overview NextEra is seeking a highly experienced
Sr. Manager of Strategic Initiatives
to join the newly formed Transformation Office within the Business Management organization. Business Management owns the P&L for the world’s largest portfolio of renewable assets and is responsible for ensuring these assets meet financial commitments. This includes: Acting as the CEO of the assets Driving optimal commercial and regulatory outcomes Maximizing revenue and optimizing operational performance This leader will support enterprise-wide efforts in finance modernization, capital planning, and cost optimization to
reimagine how financial insights and systems drive operational success
across the renewable asset portfolio. Key Responsibilities Lead initiatives focused on finance transformation (FP&A) , including scenario analysis, driver-based forecasting, SAP integration, and enabling agile decision-making. Define and implement Total Cost Transformation strategies , balancing engineering investments with revenue loss and operational tradeoffs. Optimize CapEx project approval and investment tracking workflows , incorporating cash flow modeling, Montecarlo simulations, project milestone tracking, and Risk Management. Coordinate cross-functionally to implement KPIs , performance dashboards, and financial best practices. Partner with Data Science, IT, and Finance
teams to
turn insights into operational and strategic actions. Develop change management frameworks
and contribute to governance of the transformation program. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred. 8+ years of experience in finance transformation, FP&A, or enterprise system implementation. Strong knowledge of SAP (S/4HANA, BPC, or SAC) and experience leading or supporting large-scale ERP or finance transformations. Proficiency in cash flow modeling, scenario planning, and capital efficiency analytics. Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to connect financial models to operational strategy. Job Overview
This position is responsible for using business management consulting skills to work with internal clients through all stages of strategy-based transformation engagements. Job Duties & Responsibilities
Providing thought leadership and execution support on client assignments to craft strategy and then refocus an organization on making that strategy a reality Consulting with clients to identify, clarify, and solve problems critical to clients' strategic and operating success by developing insight, conducting independent analysis, and working with clients to assure assignment progress Developing conclusions and recommendations, writing reports, assisting in client presentations and providing implementation assistance as required Presenting to senior executives • Constructing the analytical framework and work steps for each assignment, and leading the problem solving associated Conducting both client and market development to grow the business Performs other job-related duties as assigned Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Experience: 10+ years Supervisor/Management Experience: 4+ years Preferred Qualifications
