Combat Collaborative Aircraft (CCA) Operational Expert

to support the 53d Test and Evaluation Group (TEG) Experimental Operations Unit (EOU) at Creech AFB, NV. The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment supporting the initial standup and follow-on experimental operations of the Air Force's first CCA unit. Responsibilities include advising on doctrine, organization, experimentation, test, training, material, leadership, personnel, facilities, and policy concepts related to CCA, providing warfighter input for acquisition, testing, and fielding of CCA within the NGAD family of systems. The role requires effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and strong skills in problem-solving, communication, leadership, and attention to detail. Major Duties and Responsibilities: THIS IS A SENIOR POSITION.

The candidate will apply operational expertise, technical knowledge, and leadership to assist the EOU in developing doctrine, organization, experimentation, testing, training, material, leadership, personnel, facilities, and policy concepts related to CCA. Essential job functions include but are not limited to: Coordination, execution, management, and risk mitigation for experiments, demonstrations, and tests for the EOU. Operational support for event planning, execution, and post-event reporting. Expertise in 5th Gen Fighter operations, academics, and integration with CCA/6th Gen assets. Providing briefings and recommendations to senior staff, agencies, and external organizations. Coordination with agencies like OSD, CJCS, HAF/SAF, ACC, AFMC, and others to facilitate planning. Development of test plans, including scenario creation, objectives, execution, and reporting. Knowledge of NTTR threat environment, surrogate testing, and C2 capabilities. Participation in infrastructure and technical review meetings to define requirements and CONOPS. Identification of infrastructure needs through surveys and visits. Serving as SME for experimental operations activities with military and joint partners. Staying current with joint TTPs, emerging technologies, and strategies against threats. Travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations as needed, and support other TEG initiatives. Required Skills: At least 20 years of experience in tactics, operations, and analysis, including 10 years in 5th generation/stealth aircraft (F-22, F-35). Experience in test management, operational planning, and familiarity with test policies and procedures. Knowledge of Nellis AFB operations, USAFWC, NTTR infrastructure, and scheduling processes. Ability to lead meetings, conferences, and briefings, and to work effectively in teams. Expertise in liaising with national agencies, DoD services, and intelligence agencies. Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, capable of briefing senior personnel. Desired Skills/Experience: 20+ years in tactical aviation, primarily Fighter/Attack. 10+ years in LO/Stealth Fighter aircraft. Experience in command staff or strategic planning roles. USAF Weapons Instructor Course, Navy TOPGUN, Test Pilot School, or operational test pilot credentials preferred. Knowledge of RPA operations, CAOC, or contingency planning is a plus. Experience with SAR programs is highly desirable. Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred. STEM degree desirable. Security Clearance: TS clearance with SSBI, ability to obtain SCI/SAP/STO clearances, current SCI preferred. U.S. citizenship required.
