Must Have Skills: (10+ Years of Experience) JavaScript Automation (JEST) Java Automation (Cucumber) API testing (Insomnia/Postman) SQL AWS JIRA JenkinsWeare seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join the Alternative Investment PlatformModernization group. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring thequality and reliability of our investment platform through comprehensivetesting and automation strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strongbackground in both JavaScript and Java automation, as well as experience withAPI testing and cloud services.Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and executeautomated test scripts using JavaScript (JEST) and Java (Cucumber) toensure the functionality and performance of the platform. Conduct API testing using toolssuch as Insomnia and Postman to validate endpoints and ensure they meetspecifications. Perform SQL queries to validatedata integrity and support database testing. Collaborate withcross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and develop testplans for new features and enhancements. Utilize AWS services fortesting environments and automated deployments. Track and manage defects usingJIRA, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with developmentteams. Implement and manage continuousintegration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins tostreamline testing processes. Participate in requirementsanalysis and provide feedback on testability and design for new features. Contribute to the improvementof testing processes and best practices within the team.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in ComputerScience, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Proven experience in softwarequality assurance, with a focus on testing and automation. Strong proficiency inJavaScript automation using JEST and Java automation using Cucumber. Experience with API testingtools such as Insomnia and Postman. Solid understanding of SQL andexperience in database testing. Familiarity with AWS servicesand cloud-based testing environments. Proficient in using JIRA forissue tracking and project management. Experience with Jenkins forCI/CD processes. Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Excellent communication andteamwork abilities.
