Flight Operations Manager
position. In this role, you will oversee the management and support of our Challenger aircraft fleet, ensuring safety, efficiency, and service standards are maintained. This position requires relocation to Columbus, Ohio. The

oversees the effective management and support of fleet crewing and pilot welfare, maintaining safety, efficiency, and service standards, and promoting the Vista America Brand. Includes but not limited to the following: People Management Responsibilities
Execute performance management functions Align crew with company goals Hold bi-monthly fleet meetings Manage time and attendance functions Conduct quarterly 1-on-1 appraisals and reviews Implement reward and recognition programs Develop talent strategies, including internal changes and external hires Crew Management Responsibilities
Ensure pilot schedule coverage and fleet balance Review duty assignments and fatigue reports Safeguard crew welfare Act as FOMoD per roster Review LIFUS progress Support onsite “Crew Support” programs Support simulator training, ensuring profiles meet training objectives Aircraft Operation Responsibilities
Monitor sensitive flights and provide debrief recommendations within 48 hours Review AOGs and suggest operational improvements Implement flight operation policies and procedures Ensure logistical procedures and documentation are accurate and complete Identify fleet needs and issue fleet memos with approval Coordinate with MOC on maintenance and MEL issues Oversee client experience, including Wi-Fi and cabin status Statutory and Company Compliance
Ensure understanding and adherence to efficiency policies and procedures Guarantee safe flight operations compliant with regulations and company policies, working closely with the Director of Operations and Flight Operations Admin Recommend standardization policies and procedures to the CP System (Tech) Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with Centric/ App, eCrew, EFF, ETL Use Tableau dashboards for data analysis Manage ADP, SuccessFactors, and Confluence effectively Skills & Competencies
Data evaluation for operational decisions Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and GV Organizational skills and crew performance management Report preparation skills Ability to thrive in a high-growth environment and work cross-functionally Remote team management skills Additional Requirements
Current Check Airman/Captain on Challenger aircraft Valid driver’s license with acceptable record First class medical certificate No recent accidents, incidents, or FAA enforcement actions Willingness to travel worldwide unrestricted Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Extensive piloting experience, including international operations Knowledge of Jet Select’s GOM, OpSpecs, and FAA regulations Management experience preferred Authorization to work in the U.S. 150 flight hours in the past 365 days, or 30 hours in the past 90 days The affiliated partners of Vista America are equal employment opportunity employers and prohibit discrimination and harassment based on protected categories.
