is seeking an
IT Digital Transformation Manager
to drive innovation by translating emerging technology trends into actionable product roadmaps and business solutions. You will lead a diverse team of Transformation Analysts, Enterprise Architects, Data Leads, and PMO members to execute strategic transformation initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional fusion teams onsite to ensure solutions are aligned with refinery and manufacturing business needs. You will define and implement foundational and transformational capabilities through road mapping and enterprise architecture, ensuring alignment with the broader enterprise application portfolio. You will also play a key role on the IT leadership team, managing 4–10 FTEs and supporting SMG/ExT to maintain a reliable and secure applications environment across both onsite and offsite teams. To succeed as an IT Digital Transformation Manager, you must have: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field with extensive experience in a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). 10+ years of experience with enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, SaaS), including 8+ years leading IT teams. Solid project management and organizational change management (OCM) skills, with experience delivering complex, multi-stakeholder technology initiatives. Knowledge of refinery or Oil & Gas operations and familiarity with business functions like Finance, Maintenance, Procurement, HR, and Trading. Proficiency in IT contract negotiation, ITIL/ITSM frameworks, Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), and budgeting (Capex/Opex) planning. As an IT Digital Transformation Manager,
you will: Develop and execute a site-wide digital transformation strategy aligned with business goals, including technology scouting, business case development, POCs, and ROI analysis. Define and lead the enterprise application roadmap and architecture, ensuring alignment with operational needs, scalability, and long-term sustainability. Manage cross-functional teams and the IT PMO, including Transformation Analysts, Enterprise Architects, and fusion teams (onsite/offsite), while driving professional development and resource planning. Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT leaders to understand requirements, promote change, manage vendor relationships, and translate needs into actionable technology initiatives. Lead data governance, application lifecycle management, and performance metrics, ensuring high-quality delivery, user adoption, and measurable value generation through digital tools. is a highly complex refinery located 18 miles east of Houston in Deer Park, TX. It is part of the Pemex group, a fully integrated oil company in the Americas, working across the entire value chain: exploration, production, industrial processing/refining, logistics, and marketing. The refinery’s rated capacity is 340,000 barrels per day and has the feed flexibility to process multiple grades of crude, producing high-quality transportation fuels the world needs. The Pemex site is co-located with other 3rd party chemical facilities, allowing for further integration and optimization of the refinery and its products.
