This role plans and executes a wide variety of technical and administrative assignments and effectively interacts with others. This position may serve as Quality Representative on small to medium projects.Communicate effectively with department and project personnel regarding Quality policies and proceduresAssist in the preparation of project audit schedules, discipline activity plans for the Quality function, and audit reports (internal and external), noting non-conformances and verifying effective corrective actionAssist (if directed by senior Quality management) the Project Manager in developing an orientation program to ensure that the project teams are familiar with the requirements of the Project Quality Plan; including other Quality matters, if requiredAct as a Quality auditor ad may follow up on audit findings and corrective actionsAssess (if directed by senior Quality management) the ability of the suppliers to meet the Quality requirements of the projectAssist in the maintenance of project Quality records for all phases of the projectOther duties as assignedBasic Job RequirementsAccredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and five (5) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to nine (9) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirementsAbility to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitorsJob related technical knowledge necessary to complete the jobAbility to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelinesAbility to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective mannerOther Job RequirementsNuclear construction requiredAbility to obtain and maintain Q clearance if requiredCivil/Underground nuclear construction inspection experienceUS Citizenship RequiredPrevious certification as a Level II Civil Inspector of concrete and soils in accordance with the requirements of ANSI N45.2.6 or ASME NQA-1-2019.Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitorsJob related technical knowledge necessary to complete the jobAbility to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelinesAbility to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective mannerPreferred QualificationsAccredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering/technical preferredAdvanced degree in engineering discipline/technical field, or administration area preferredAuditor certification by outside agency (e.g., Registrar Accreditation Board (RAB), American Society for Quality (ASQ), International Quality Associates (IQA), etc.) preferredInternal Lead Auditor certification requiredFive (5) years of related Quality/project experienceModerate interpersonal and communication skillsModerate leadership and decision-making skillsWe are an equal opportunity employer.
