The
Service Operations Manager
leads a team responsible for service work on building automation, fire, life safety, or security systems. The right candidate will coordinate activities related to service agreements, migrations, installed projects, and T&M work to ensure timely delivery and meet customer expectations. The target revenue for this position is over $10 million annually. As a
Service Operations Manager , you will: Oversee hiring, supervision, training, and mentoring of service teams, including goal setting, performance monitoring, and scheduling training sessions. Manage revenue, gross margin, and absorption to meet business projections and forecasts. Drive expansion of chargeable opportunities, including T&M, system upgrades, and service contracts, and ensure quality assurance activities are completed. Support contract profitability through cost control and ensure contractual requirements are met to high standards. Develop customer relationships, maintain high satisfaction levels, and ensure effective communication and resource allocation. Champion safety compliance by ensuring employees meet safety standards and are properly trained. Maintain organizational and interpersonal skills. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: 3+ years supervising field teams, project management, operations, or client service management in related industries. Understanding of financial reporting and cost control measures. Experience with Microsoft Office. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Must be 21+, possess a valid driver’s license with limited violations, and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
