We are actively seeking a Server Administrator/SME for a full-time position at a government facility in Washington DC. Work will be on-site with possible situational telework, requiring coordination with the Program Manager and COR. A Top Secret clearance is required.
This role supports the Team Awareness Kit Interagency program. Key responsibilities include:
Serving as backup to the SME Architect, with responsibilities including server installation, OS updates, and platform support.
Managing third-party applications, patches, and security compliance.
Providing technical support for applications, devices, and troubleshooting.
Coordinating with Application Development and Mobile Device Management teams within USSS.
Supporting enterprise workstation installations, updates, and sustainment.
Developing system administration policies, maintenance procedures, and documentation.
Supporting platform server integration in small team settings and mission planning systems.
Recommending and supporting capability enhancements, and documenting mission capabilities based on emerging technologies.
Requirements include:
Expertise Level: Subject Matter Expert.
7 years of IT Server Administration experience.
Experience with Azure Cloud, Linux (Red Hat/CentOS), Windows, VMware, Network Security, Mobile Applications, Mobile Device Management, Radio Networks, and Geospatial Servers.
5 years of TAK experience.
