Job Summary We are looking for a savvy Engineer 3 to join our growing engineering team at FreeWheel. Our engineering team works on offering the world-class real-time ad delivery service that delivers billions of advertisements globally, with robust quality, high engineering/cost efficiency, and technical excellence. Core Responsibilities Develop highly scalable and reliable infrastructure on AWS, ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency. Implement security best practices and ensure the integrity and compliance of the AWS infrastructure and containerized environments. Work closely with senior engineers to build and enhance ad-serving infrastructure. Write and maintain documentation for software functionality and design decisions. Provide technical support for production systems and assist in troubleshooting issues. Collaborate with global engineering and operations teams to incorporate collective innovations. Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Able to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar field. 1-3 years of software engineering experience, preferably in cloud computing, distributed systems, or backend development. Familiarity with one or more programming languages including GoLang or Python. Solid understanding of Cloud, containerization, and related technologies. Strong Linux systems knowledge and understanding of data structures and algorithms. Experience in large-scale online service development, operation, and maintenance is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies. Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing requirements. Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Software Engineering methodologies. Experience with message queues, caching mechanisms, or distributed databases is a plus.
