Senior Artificial Intelligence (AI) Infrastructure Engineer

to join the AI team in

Huntsville, AL . This role is crucial in advancing Boeing's AI capabilities by optimizing AI infrastructure deployment to meet program-specific requirements across development environments. The successful candidate will help increase AI development speed and improve AI-enabled systems for our customers. Position Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain AI infrastructure across multiple sites, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration. Manage compute, storage, networking, DevOps, and MLOps to enhance AI applications. Advise on best practices for migrating to enterprise hosting environments. Deploy and secure AI tools on-premises and in the cloud. Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing and technical excellence. Present at industry conferences and internal summits on AI infrastructure and development processes. Provide consultation during AI system development, leveraging enterprise project exposure. Help operationalize AI by integrating labs for AI/ML work. Ensure continuity across business units with comprehensive AI system understanding. Develop and maintain AI Innovation Lab processes, including lab intake. Partner with IDT&S, Procurement, and Finance to acquire hardware and software assets. Ensure compliance of managed assets within AI Innovation Labs. 10 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. 10 years of experience with data center infrastructure, including networking, server clusters, virtualization, and storage. Active Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. Strong problem-solving skills with a history of cost-saving and operational improvements. Excellent communication and leadership skills for coordinating with diverse stakeholders. Additional Information:

Travel: 10% Boeing is a Drug-Free Workplace. The total rewards package includes competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for enrollment in health, retirement, and insurance programs, with specifics varying by location and eligibility. Pay range for experienced candidates: $158,100 - $213,900. Application deadline: May 31, 2025. Security and Compliance:
