Desert Financial Credit Union The Documentation Administrator-IT supports the IT Operations team serving multiple credit unions. This role is critical in establishing and maintaining high-quality, standardized documentation practices that ensure operational consistency, knowledge sharing, and streamlined support processes. They are responsible to efficiently organize, centralize, and access critical information about the IT environments, systems, processes, and client details.
What you will do here:
Collaborate with IT teams and management to design and implement documentation repository structures, organization, and standards.
Develop documentation standards and guidelines, and support training efforts across teams to ensure adoption and consistency.
Audit existing documentation to assess relevance and completeness; standardize and migrate content into the newly defined structure and repository
Support the design and documentation of Autotask workflows to ensure alignment with roles, responsibilities, and best practices.
Collaborate with the team to configure and administer IT Glue and MyGlue for both internal teams and external credit union clients.
Collaborate on the integration and administration of ITSM ticketing systems and associated tools.
Collaborate with Account Management, Product Management, and Marketing teams to identify documentation needs and develop client-facing materials and migration strategies.
Work with management to establish an ongoing documentation lifecycle process—including creation, maintenance, auditing, and archiving—to ensure up-to-date and easily accessible documentation.
What you will need:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
preferred.
Equivalent Combination Of Education And Experience Required.
2+ years experience in technical documentation, preferably in an IT operations or managed services environment
required.
Competency with ITSM tools, particularly Autotask, IT Glue, and MyGlue
required.
Strong understanding of documentation standards, knowledge management principles, and IT operational processes
required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical content for both technical and non-technical audiences
required.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams and stakeholders
required.
Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
required.
Experience working with credit unions, financial institutions, or in regulated industries
preferred.
Background in technical training or user enablement
preferred.
Certifications in ITIL, Knowledge-Centered Service (KCS), or related frameworks
preferred.
