The EPC team handles engineering, procurement, and construction for site developments and facility upgrades at Neuralink. We collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research and engineering growth, fostering a culture of teamwork and innovation. Job Description and Responsibilities:
The senior mechanical engineer will develop and optimize facilities through conceptual and detailed designs of HVAC, hydronic, plumbing, and process utility systems, supporting new constructions and upgrades. Responsibilities include creating BIM models, engineering drawings, specifications, and collaborating with architects and contractors to ensure constructability and code compliance. Create conceptual and final designs for various project types including offices, labs, clean rooms, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, data centers, vivariums, and animal care facilities. Develop BIM models, drawings, and diagrams for mechanical, plumbing, and process systems. Design systems that are cost-effective, code-compliant, and meet quality and schedule requirements. Build comprehensive construction packages, including details and specifications. Generate controls documents, vendor scopes, and procurement data sheets. Ensure designs adhere to relevant codes and standards based on location. Lead collaborative design efforts interfacing with multidisciplinary teams. Coordinate with construction teams for reviews and constructability assessments. Prepare cost estimates and material takeoffs. Review RFIs and submittals from contractors. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. 5+ years of industry experience. Exceptional ability demonstrated through work. Current or ability to obtain a Texas or California PE license within six months. Expertise in AutoCAD and/or REVIT MEP. Experience designing cleanrooms. Preferred Qualifications: Experience designing offices, labs, manufacturing, and infrastructure projects. Knowledge of industry software like Microsoft Office, COMcheck, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace, Navisworks, and Bluebeam. Compensation:
The expected base salary range in Texas is $100,500—$237,900 USD, depending on experience and skills. Benefits:
