The
Project Executive
plays a pivotal role in overseeing and delivering large-scale
water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects . This senior leadership position is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating project activities across
Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C.,
and the
Baltimore area .
About the Projects Projects are primarily industrial infrastructure developments, including:
Water treatment plants Wastewater treatment facilities Flood resilience infrastructure This role may involve managing a single mega project or a portfolio of projects within a specialized market segment. Project delivery methodologies may include DBB, EPC, CMGC, CMAR, IPD, and others.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and follow-up to ensure safe, timely, and cost-efficient project execution. Project Oversight
Manage subcontractors and optimize the utilization of self-performing trades. Leadership & Team Management
Lead and coordinate a high-performing project team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and project goals. Strategic Project Planning
Define objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards, ensuring projects adhere to corporate and client guidelines. Budget & Schedule Compliance
Oversee financial aspects of contracts, ensuring profitability while maintaining adherence to timelines. Problem Resolution & Technical Expertise
Provide technical guidance, resolve challenges, and collaborate with stakeholders, including governmental agencies and subcontractors. Mentorship & Growth
Support the professional development of team members through mentorship and leadership. Market Strategy & Business Development
Contribute to strategic planning and growth initiatives within the water/wastewater construction sector.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
Bachelors or advanced degree in Engineering or Construction Management. Certifications
PE and/or DBIA credentialing preferred but not required. Industry Experience
10+ years of water/wastewater construction experience, with expertise in contracts, design, finance, and project management.

Compensation Annual salary range:
$150,000 $200,000
plus profit sharing . This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. The range has been created in good faith based on information known at the time of the posting, but may change based on the qualifications of the selected candidate, as compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate.
