Pay Rate:

$131,564 - $238,550

Construction Manager

Delve Underground seeks a Construction Manager to lead world-class tunnel projects. This full-time role requires a leader experienced in managing major underground projects, especially in transport, water, sewer, and gas pipeline installations. The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to lead project teams, foresee and solve problems, and consistently deliver projects on time and within budget.

The candidate must be open to relocating to projects in locations such as Chicago, New York, San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, Vancouver BC, and Washington DC, with relocation assistance provided based on project needs.

Responsibilities

Manage construction contractors as the project owner's representative, including contract administration and progress reporting.

Lead a construction management team comprising resident engineers, office/field engineers, cost controllers, inspectors, and support staff.

Conduct discussions, meetings, and workshops.

Oversee schedules, specifications, and budget reports.

Lead QA/QC reviews and risk management efforts.

Manage projects with budgets up to $500 million.

Develop business strategies to secure new opportunities.

Represent the company in industry forums.

Contribute to strategic initiatives and the growth of the Construction Management Group.

Qualifications

20+ years in heavy civil industry, including 15+ years in management of large underground projects.

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Professional registration/certification in engineering or technologist status.

Experience with environmental and reclamation construction.

Fluent in English, with ability to travel to project sites.
