Equity Research Senior Associate/VP - Cyber Software

Responsibilities: Work with Senior Analyst and associates on coverage of 15+ companies. Monitor important macro and sector-specific developments that might impact companies under coverage. Build and maintain detailed financial models for covered and uncovered companies. Ideate and execute on research ideas on individual covered companies and the industry with limited supervision. Source and utilize third-party data to drive data-based conclusions. Attend meetings with senior management, industry conferences, and company-specific conferences. Engage with internal partners (equity sales, product mgmt, trading) and external ones (executives, investor relations, buy-side clients, and industry experts) to supplement lead Analyst’s efforts Work with the entire team to help manage Senior Analyst’s calendar. Required Background/Skills: The ability to ask for and accept coaching to accelerate development. Interest in and ability to work long hours as required. Strong writing and communication skills Strong financial modeling skills High proficiency in PowerPoint presentations Strong attention to detail The ability to organize, manage, and prioritize time well. Strong project management skills Minimum Requirements: 4+ years of combined experience in Equity Research, Investment Banking, or Investment Management A CPA or CFA preferred Candidate with SIE/Series 7, 63, 86, & 87 licenses preferred Deep familiarity and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to work in the New York office five days a week. Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $135,000 - $175,000.
