Job ID: 2677397 | Amazon.com Services LLC Amazon is seeking talented Postdoctoral Scientists to join our Forward Looking Initiatives & Technology Enablers (FLITE) Team for a one-year, full-time research position. The FLITE team aims to enable Amazon Robotics Manipulation Organization to innovate in advanced technology development. The research will focus on generalization of grasp policies in simulation and on novel hardware platforms. The Postdoc will research, propose, and develop policies leveraging state-of-the-art visuomotor policies, data-efficient reinforcement learning methods, and foundation models for robotic perception and manipulation. The candidate will prototype algorithms in simulation and deploy promising solutions to real hardware, providing strategic direction in this rapidly evolving field. Key job responsibilities

Collaborate closely with a senior science advisor, other scientists, and engineers, and be part of Amazon’s global science community. Publish innovations in top-tier academic venues and develop presentation skills. Engage with challenges and opportunities to invent cutting-edge techniques in your expertise area. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

PhD in a relevant field, received within 2 years of starting the position. Proven publication record in Manipulation and Gasp Learning. Publications in Machine Learning, Robotics, Computer Vision, AI, Computer Science, Econ, Reinforcement Learning, or related fields. Experience in data science and quantitative research. Proficiency in relevant technologies. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to independently deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Publications at top-tier conferences and/or journals. Exceptional communication skills. Expertise in modeling, performance, operationalization, and scalability of scientific techniques. Compensation ranges from $136,000 to $222,200 annually, based on location, experience, and skills.
