Lead Mechanical Engineer
with deep experience in mission-critical systems to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll lead mechanical design efforts for large-scale, high-reliability projects, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams from concept through construction. Key Responsibilities: Lead mechanical design for mission-critical projects (e.g., data centers, high-performance computing facilities, labs) Oversee HVAC systems design, equipment selection, and system sizing to meet redundancy and reliability requirements (N+1, 2N) Manage and mentor junior engineers and coordinate with internal and external design teams Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client-specific requirements (ASHRAE, NFPA, Uptime Tier standards, etc.) Perform calculations, prepare specifications, and review submittals/shop drawings Provide technical support during construction, including site visits and commissioning support Collaborate closely with electrical, structural, and controls engineers to deliver fully integrated solutions Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering PE license (required) 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience Experience with mission critical facilities (preferred) Experience with heavy HVAC infrastructure (required) Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and mechanical load calculation tools (e.g., Trace 700, HAP) Strong knowledge of mechanical system redundancy strategies and best practices for uptime-critical facilities Excellent communication and leadership skills Preferred Experience: Data center, telecom, or healthcare facility design LEED accreditation or familiarity with sustainable design principles Involvement in commissioning or design-build delivery models Why Join Us?
