Position Description We're seeking a driven and experienced
Electrical Engineering Department Manager
to lead our Electrical Engineering & Design team on high-impact EPC projects.
This role involves owning the technical and administrative direction of the department, ensuring engineering excellence, guiding a high-performing team, and driving results across complex projects. You will lead cross-functional coordination from design through construction, optimize resources, manage change proactively, and ensure quality, cost, and schedule adherence. Key Responsibilities
Manage department resources related to projects, including staffing, tools, deliverables, and estimates.
Ensure the technical quality of the department's work meets professional engineering standards.
Maximize personnel utilization through effective planning and staffing.
Develop talent and departmental training programs.
Supervise performance appraisals and salary administration.
Responsible for discipline, cost, and schedule commitments on projects.
Required Skills
Experience in project execution and supervision of engineering resources.
Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects.
Broad technical knowledge of electrical engineering and ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and familiarity with ETAP, SKM, Visual.
Qualifications
BSc in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college/university.
15+ years of experience in the EPCm industry or related fields.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Compensation & Benefits The salary range for this role is $136,400 - $204,600, based on experience and location. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, paid leave, and voluntary benefits.

Visual acuity, manual dexterity, hearing, talking, concentration, reading/writing skills, reasoning, and decision-making abilities.
Ability to perform job functions at the office or work site.
