Handle claims proactively to achieve optimal payout results by resolving claims fairly, quickly, and cost-effectively. Assess coverage issues and issue appropriate coverage letters/documentation within required timeframes. Complete timely investigations and set appropriate reserves. Manage outside counsel on litigated claims. Handle claims in accordance with RLI's Best Practices. Education & Experience

B.A. plus 6+ years of claim handling and/or legal experience, especially in Primary and Excess Directors & Officers, Fiduciary, and Employment Practices Liability claims. J.D. strongly preferred. Knowledge, Skills, & Competencies

Proactive in investigation, claim handling, attorney management, and resolution. Excellent communication skills to work effectively with insureds, underwriters, and claimants. Compensation Overview

The base salary range for this role is $113,508 - $165,437, complemented by a comprehensive total rewards package including bonuses, stock ownership, and benefits. The offered salary will consider factors such as location, experience, and qualifications. Benefits & Perks
