Under the supervision of the Senior Vice President, Investment Management, the VP, Investment Management is responsible for the overall performance of the assigned healthcare real estate portfolio. This role will act as the primary owner representative with the tenants/operators within the portfolio. In addition, the position will work closely with the Senior Vice President, Investment Management and Chief Investment Officer to develop asset plans and strategies to enhance the value of our investments while also taking a lead role in mentoring and providing guidance to junior level teammates. Develop and cultivate relationships with new and existing Tenants, Operators and Health System management teams Travel to assigned markets / properties on an annual basis or more as necessary Complete site visit reports providing intelligence on tenant operations and credit, market conditions and comps, and building condition and maintenance Collaborate with Property Management to administer lease agreements Work with Property Managers to develop asset improvement plans Develop credit monitoring procedures and reports alongside the Senior Vice President, Investment Management and the Vice President, Research and Credit Engage outside brokers and consultants in addition to leveraging Company intel to develop an understanding of market comps and statistics. Work with and manage contracted outside brokers to create successful marketing and leasing strategies Negotiate terms of lease agreements and partner with internal and external legal team to amend agreements and other related lease documents Prepare financial analysis to support leasing and/or disposition recommendations Monitor and ensure compliance with lease terms and other related obligations Other duties related to overall value enhancement and risk mitigation of the assigned portfolio

Qualifications And Education Requirements
Advanced degree; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred 7-10 years of relationship management, asset management or real estate management experience; Healthcare real estate experience preferred Strong knowledge of Healthcare Real Estate and Medical Office Building leasing experience preferred Experience using Argus and Yardi a plus REIT experience a plus

Candidate must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Candidate must possess strong negotiation skills. Candidate must possess the solid ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast moving, growth environment. Candidate must have the ability to successfully work cross-functionally, to build trust, and to align goals and priorities across departments. Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
