$125,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr The Environmental Health, and Safety Manager will implement regulation compliant policies, procedures, and training to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for our employees. Additionally, they will ensure compliance with all environmental regulations applicable to our operations.
Duties/Responsibilities
Inspects the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks. Develops and implements policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine reviews, updates, inspections, and trainings. Develops health and safety procedures for all areas of the company. Conducts accident investigations, determines root cause, and coordinates and implements corrective actions. Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics. Conduct Safety Training for existing and new employees. Monitors compliance with safety procedures. Drafts inspection reports to document inspection findings. Ensures that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed. Maintains records of discharge of or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required. Maintains any and all applicable environmental permitting and spill prevention program. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
Extensive knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations and policies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field required. Five (5) + years of related experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
