The Role

In this role, you will design and deliver DGM's control systems and provide ongoing customer support to ensure reliable performance and world-class customer satisfaction. The successful applicant will contribute to project delivery excellence supporting utility customers in energy generation, transmission, and distribution industries. Your Impact

Project Technical Lead working directly with external customers to deliver projects. Design, plan, integrate, test, and commission hardware and software requirements on customer systems. Evaluate contract specifications and define project requirements through customer communication; communicate these to other departments as needed. Provide networking and system/application design. Perform hardware, software, and system installation, integration, testing for projects. Customize system, hardware, and network configurations based on customer needs. Provide customer support and assistance according to maintenance and warranty contracts. Support technical sales of power systems applications for real-time control systems, including presentations and demonstrations. Assist in creating training materials and project documentation. What You'll Need

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering, or related field. Strong technical background in automation and computers with at least 8 years of relevant experience. Experience with electrical utility control systems (SCADA, EMS, GMS, DMS, OMS, DERMS) or utility operations experience. Experience in power systems, electric utility operations/dispatch, real-time control systems, client/server applications, network communications, UNIX/Linux/Windows operating systems. Proficiency in software programming and scripting (Python, C/C++). Preferred Qualifications

Experience with databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra). Experience with JSON, XML. Experience with utility protocols (ICCP, DNP, MultiSpeak). Experience with OSI Monarch control systems. Soft Skills Required

Excellent organization, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Strong commitment to customer service. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally. This role offers a salary range of $127,000.00 - $158,700.00, which is an estimate of the base compensation at the time of posting. The final pay may vary based on several factors. The position is eligible for bonuses or incentive pay, along with a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, insurance, and retirement benefits.
