Emerging Technology & Data Science Lead My client is seeking a seasoned candidate for their open for Emerging Technology role. You must come out of Financial Services to qualify. And role is on site 3 days a week. The Emerging Technology & Data Science Lead will oversee the development and execution of a strategy to integrate advanced analytics and emerging technologies, such as AI, machine learning (ML), and distributed ledger technology. This role drives innovation, enhances business efficiency, and delivers differentiated employee and customer experiences in the investment management industry. Responsibilities

Explore and adopt new technologies, tools, and methodologies to strengthen competitive advantage in investment management. Develop a forward-looking roadmap for advanced analytics and technologies (AI/ML, tokenization, blockchain) to support the firm’s long-term strategy. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business challenges and opportunities for AI/ML-driven solutions. Identify and leverage AI capabilities within existing third-party technologies for business value. Lead a small team and work with IT to design, test, tune, and deploy ML models for actionable insights and automation. Maintain a comprehensive catalog of AI use case solution patterns, ensuring clear documentation and effective utilization. Educate leadership on advanced analytics and emerging technology concepts, highlighting possibilities and impacts. Provide regular progress updates and reports to senior leadership and the board on technology and analytics initiatives. Serve as a thought leader, representing the company at industry conferences to stay updated on trends, best practices, and build partnerships. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred). 5+ years of experience in IT, Machine Learning, or Data Science roles, within financial services. Strong expertise in machine learning techniques and statistical concepts. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data and drive investment decisions and product innovation. Superior verbal and written communication skills to present complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership. Proven ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans aligned with organizational goals. Deep understanding of the investment management industry, including trends, challenges, and the evolving role of data in decision-making.
