Mechanical Engineer
Applies engineering physics, engineering mathematics and materials science principles to support the design, analysis, manufacture or maintenance of mechanical systems. Applies advanced skills and extensive technical expertise and industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction. Mentors and may supervise team members.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with industrial or facility reverse engineering and vulnerability assessment or analysis
Experience with engineering research, capability or limitation analysis, reverse engineering analysis or characterizations, and facility and vulnerability assessments
Experience performing engineering duties in analyzing and characterizing all source information regarding engines, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment
Experience with complex mechanical design and project management
Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
Professional Engineering Certification
Additional Qualifications:
Knowledge of underground facilities or hard and deeply buried targets
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Master’s degree in Engineering
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
Compensation:
The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
