BlueHalo, an AV Company, is seeking a highly motivated

Lead Systems Test & Evaluation Engineer

to join our Kinetic Effectors Group. The role involves supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of system-level testing for advanced missile programs, including ground, flight, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing. The engineer will ensure compliance with program requirements, safety standards, and mission objectives, interfacing with engineering, program management, government customers, and range authorities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead test execution on complex missile development programs.

Develop and review test plans, procedures, and schedules for missile subsystem and system-level testing.

Support setup, execution, and teardown of test events including ground, lab-based, and flight tests.

Analyze test data to evaluate system performance and identify anomalies.

Maintain test equipment, instrumentation, and telemetry systems.

Participate in pre-test activities such as Test Readiness Reviews, safety checks, and coordination with range authorities.

Document test results and contribute to technical reports and briefings.

Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure proper test integration.

Adhere to safety and quality assurance protocols.

Ensure compliance with military standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

U.S. citizen with an active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one.

4+ years of relevant experience in system testing.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good teamwork and communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Highly organized with strong multi-tasking and time-management skills.

Ability to travel for supplier reviews, customer meetings, and test events.

Desired Qualifications

Experience testing complex weapon systems for the U.S. Department of Defense.

Knowledge of government/military test standards (e.g., MIL-STD-810).

Experience with air-to-air, air-to-ground, or surface-to-air missile systems.

Knowledge of Explosives Safety, Ordnance System Safety, and Software Safety.

Salary Range: $111,000 - $144,000
