Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a dedicated Chief Systems Engineer (CSE) for Product Center & IGNITE's teams. This position will serve as LM Space technical oversight for the Product Center Enterprise components & IGNITE's Development Efforts by providing critical leadership related to the product's most challenging technical problems. The CSE will manage the product baseline & Systems Engineering staff, shape future standards, and support Enterprise & Engineering Strategic Threads. The candidate must excel in cross-organization relationships & collaborative problem solving, working with program teams, IGNITE & Product Center, and external customers. Responsibilities include:
Supporting all phases of the program lifecycle (development, production, & post production) Leading technical development and integration activities Managing design milestones and transition to testing Representing Lockheed Martin as the Chief Systems Engineer & Systems Integration lead Collaborating on technology roadmaps & new capabilities Driving critical product developments into production Engaging external support and communicating with leadership and customers Managing technical issues and driving process improvements Sharing knowledge and ensuring technical expertise Ensuring compliance, managing costs, schedule, and quality improvements Qualifications include experience with cost management, resolving complex technical issues, and knowledge of engineering and program planning. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance are required. Preferred Skills:
Active TS/SCI clearance Experience with LM400 space vehicle bus Background in space subsystems, electrical engineering, flight software, and mission software Experience with spacecraft systems, hardware/software troubleshooting, and end-to-end systems expertise Strong leadership, mentoring, communication, and team-building skills Lockheed Martin is an equal opportunity employer.
