Overview:
The Senior Highway Engineer is responsible for leading and managing the engineering aspects of road, bridge, and tunnel construction projects from concept to completion. This includes technical design, site supervision, quality assurance, and cross-disciplinary coordination to ensure safe, timely, and budget-compliant delivery of complex infrastructure works. Key Responsibilities:
Lead engineering design and construction supervision for highways, bridges, and tunnels. Review and approve civil drawings, structural designs, geotechnical reports, and shop drawings related to road and tunnel works. Oversee alignment design, grading, drainage, retaining structures, pavement layers, and traffic safety systems. Coordinate with bridge and tunnel specialists for structural analysis and system integration. Supervise junior engineers, draftsmen, and site teams, ensuring quality and safety. Support tendering, quantity estimation, and technical proposal preparation. Note:
