Maintenance/ Reliability Engineer – Rotating Equipment
We are seeking a
Maintenance/ Reliability Engineer
to join Genie Matthews & Associates. This role involves overseeing the maintenance and reliability of rotating equipment at a chemical plant site, providing asset maintenance, reliability, and outage guidance. Responsibilities: Develop and improve reliability strategies based on business needs, including inventory management of critical spare parts. Enhance the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program and develop asset care plans. Coordinate plant modifications to improve OEE, yields, equipment reliability, and process quality. Analyze maintenance costs and repair frequencies to identify issues and develop improvement measures. Lead cross-functional teams on Reliability Centered Maintenance, Root Cause Analysis, and Six Sigma projects. Prepare monthly reports on maintenance and reliability activities. Execute and oversee maintenance work orders, ensuring quality and proper documentation in JDE. Lead RCA investigations for reliability incidents, assigning leaders and resources. Qualifications: BS in Engineering with 5+ years of experience in Reliability/Maintenance Engineering in a PSM-regulated chemical plant. Strong knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance, asset care, and rotating equipment such as compressors, pumps, fans, and blowers. Familiarity with industry standards (API, ASME, PIP, etc.) and experience with RCM, RCA, Six Sigma, and CMMS. Ability to work without sponsorship now and in the future. Salary:
$130,000 – $160,000 per year Location:
