Project Manager - Wastewater Treatment

RK&K RK&Ks growing Water/Wastewater Group, within one of the nation's top consulting firms, is seeking to hire a Municipal Wastewater Treatment Design Project Manager to work from our Baltimore office. In this role, you will work closely with other team members to lead evaluation and planning, design and construction services on a variety of wastewater treatment projects.
Essential Functions
Manage wastewater treatment design projects including process engineering and support disciplines Work directly with the owner, designers, other engineers, project managers and contractors. Mentor staff by training employees and supporting personal growth opportunities Exceed client expectations for quality, schedule and budget Facilitate internal and client meetings, presentations and approval of plans Preparation of scope and fee documents Extensive experience with design calculations, drawings, specifications and cost estimates for wastewater treatment projects Preparation and review of technical memoranda, engineering reports, drawings, specifications, and miscellaneous contract documents Demonstrate thorough understanding of contractor means, methods, measurements and materials Demonstrate thorough understanding of QA/QC development and execution process Demonstrate thorough understanding of contract specifications, standards, etc.
Required Skills And Experience
Bachelors or masters degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university 10 + years of demonstrated experience in performing process analyses and working with a multi-disciplined engineering team to develop construction plans and specifications for unit processes in liquid and solids treatment Passion for quality work and client service Excellent client relation and communication skills Professional Engineer registration
Preferred Skills And Experience
Experience working with municipalities in the mid-Atlantic region
