We are looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Systems Administrator to join our Information Technology team. This position plays a key role in maintaining the integrity, security, and performance of our IT infrastructure, with a primary focus on Windows Server environments, DNS, DHCP, networking, and system security. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with deep technical expertise and a passion for systems reliability and efficiency. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide general IT Support to end users in the environment Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, including domain controllers, file servers, and application servers. Manage DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Active Directory with a focus on uptime, best practices, and performance. Support virtualization platforms such as VMware, including provisioning, maintenance, and resource optimization. Maintain and improve network infrastructure including Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls. Collaborate with IT leadership to plan and implement secure and scalable network architecture. Ensure security best practices across all systems, including patching, antivirus, access control, and logging. Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues to maintain optimal uptime. Develop and maintain technical documentation for system configurations, procedures, and processes. Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and maintenance windows with minimal disruption. Assist in disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution. Ensure compliance with IT policies, regulatory standards, and audit requirements. Participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support when necessary. Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in systems administration, preferably in a mid-size or enterprise environment. Expertise in Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022). Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Active Directory design and maintenance. Hands-on experience with VMware and/or other virtualization technologies. Solid understanding of Cisco network infrastructure including VLANs, routing, and access control. Work with Microsoft365, Entra, and Azure Experience with security best practices including endpoint protection, firewalls, and vulnerability mitigation. Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell for automation and system management. Strong documentation and process development skills. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication and customer service skills. BENEFITS:
