Sr. Business Analyst

will be a key member of the Varsity Spirit’s Analytics & Insights team, formed to build strategic solutions and organizational capabilities through

reporting, analytics, and customer insights . Will work closely with business partners to identify needs and develop plans that determine a direction to actualize goals. Relying on data, this role will provide relevant insights that will help the business make better decisions, address key challenges & concerns, and uncover new opportunities for growth.

WHAT YOU WILL DO Job Responsibilities Identify critical business needs and create relevant data-driven solutions and models, driving the project from design to execution

Provide strong financial and strategic decision support to partners and stakeholders, in areas such as

pricing, sales forecasting, goal setting, and territory planning

Maintain ownership of key operational reports for stakeholders across the organization

Develop tools and partner with sales leaders on annual rep territory planning

Work collaboratively with

BI analysts to advance company’s PBI reporting platform

Collaborate across departments to support other critical organizational projects

QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Advanced with Excel a must!

Proficient with Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI / Tableau

Advanced problem solving and analytical skills

Demonstrated knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools

Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills

Significant attention to detail and strict appreciation for deadlines

Excellent time management and demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize

Experience performing various forms of online research

Education, Certification and Experience 3-5 Years of advanced analytical experience required;

preferably in areas such as finance, consulting, analytics

Bachelor’s Degree in business, economics, marketing, computer science, or related field required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in a professional office environment. Largely a sedentary role with some filing requiring the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary.
