Position
The Transition Management Operations Associate assists in the onboarding of Private Advisor Teams. This role would lead a team of peers facilitating the onboarding of Private Advisor teams, overseeing the completion of client searches, account opening & new account document package preparation. The role also serves as the primary point of contact for Divisional Leadership Teams and PA Teams on all aspects of the TMT process, working to ensure a timely and successful transition process. The Transition Management Operations Associate would also run metrics, generate reporting & provide daily status updates in support of the team transitions.
Individuals should be equally proficient working in a team environment or as an individual contributor. Should be goals driven with team success as a priority. Eager to learn, work with a sense of urgency, multi-tasking, willing to work extended hours, open to travel and flexible to change. Individuals must be extremely thorough, detail-oriented, a strong delegator, organized, able to learn quickly and handle volume under pressure.
Responsibilities
Work closely with Local Operations, Divisional Leadership and Private Advisors to onboard Private Wealth Management Teams Lead a team responsible for client account opening and new account document package preparation Partner with all onboarding stakeholders (i.e. Technology, Integration & Execution, Divisional Leadership & Operations) in preparation of each new onboarding and ensuring proper due diligence has been completed Provide guidance and recommendations to onboarding PA teams around client profiling strategy and execution Serve as point person in the resolution of escalated client and PA team issues Make recommendations around proper staffing and TMT support coverage Maintain daily transition tracking and metrics reporting for PA teams, Divisional Leadership & Senior Leadership team Lead daily transition huddles with all transition stakeholders Identify operational inefficiencies and make recommendations for process improvements
Qualifications
A BA/BS is required; degree/coursework in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Statistics preferred. Non-finance majors with relevant experience are welcome to apply. Strong academic performance 8+ years of experience in back-office operations and/or transition management operations. Leadership experience preferred
Skills
Familiarity with financial systems a plus. i.e., Bloomberg, Omgeo, CRM systems, On-line Portals, Performance Reporting. Experience on various custodial platforms a plus. Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team Ability to multi-task and be able to reassess priorities as situations arise Detail-oriented and attention to accuracy and meeting deadlines Excellent inter-personal skills Ability to exercise discretion with confidential matters Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely
Compensation Range
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $100,000. Base salary for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. In addition, this role may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
