Job Opportunity: Locums Physician Assistant - Emergency Department
Location:
Tahlequah, OK Shift Details: • 12-hour shifts • ED Overflow • Shifts may vary: 8a-8p, 10a-10p, 11a-11p, 12p-12a (weekdays and weekends) • Minimum of 13 shifts per month required Requirements: •
Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, PALS required •
Educational Background: • Completion of an ACGME or AOA approved postgraduate training program in family practice, emergency medicine, or medicine/pediatrics, with active practice in the last two years; OR • Current enrollment in an ACGME or AOA approved postgraduate training program in a general primary care specialty, with Residency Director approval; OR • One year of an ACGME or AOA approved postgraduate training program in a general primary care specialty and two years of full-time practice in general primary care; AND •
Licensing:
OK license in hand, OBNDD with CNHS address, OK DEA with CNHS address (must obtain) •
Experience: • Procedure logs (always requested) • Ability to manage care for adult and pediatric patients in an overflow setting • Cerner experience preferred but not required • Pediatric experience required • Preferred locum experience in Cerner and ED • Open to candidates who have graduated recently and rotated through the ED during clinical rotations Additional Information: • Will include additional time for medical records, training, and staff meetings If you meet the qualifications and are interested in this opportunity, please apply.
