Product Designer
with a deep interest in chess to join our team. You'll play a key role in shaping the user experience of next-generation chess AI tools for learning and analysis. This is going to be a fast-paced demanding job responsibility. Key Responsibilities Design high-fidelity UI workflows for both web and mobile platforms (all responsive sizes) using Figma Collaborate with stakeholders to align on design logic and implementation Rapidly prototype and iterate on ideas based on feedback and changing requirements Contribute to product direction with a user-first, design-thinking approach Requirements Proficiency in Figma and UI/UX design principles Deep understanding of chess, both in gameplay and from a user perspective, including the competitive ecosystem Experience working in fast-paced, data-informed environments Adaptability to evolving goals and project needs Passion for chess (playing strength is a plus, but not required) Ability to work quickly while accurately and under pressure Nice to Have Familiarity with software development processes Based in New York City area or able to relocate
