A Brief Overview The position is visible to the hospital's business service lines and serves as a liaison between IT and those groups. This position also functions as a team member responsible for providing application(s) configuration support to enhance department's operational efficiencies and workflow needs. Duties include: What You Will Do Supports major enterprise applications and others as assigned, specifically the Solventum suite of applications: 360 Encompass, 360 CDI Engage Once, 360 Fluency Direct, and CodeAssist. Leads the design of business workflows in collaboration with business units and guides Application Analysts in designing improved efficiencies, resolving complex workflow issues, and incorporating quality initiatives. Conducts needs assessments, software design, implementation, support, and reporting. Leads unit and integrated testing of software to ensure design objectives are met. Develops test scripts for complex testing scenarios and validates testing results. Maintains a thorough understanding of department business processes. Owns specific functionalities and processes, responsible for configuration, testing, and communication related to these. Troubleshoots application issues independently to resolution. Addresses system hardware issues as needed. Partners with end users to understand workflows and business processes. Oversees system security for assigned applications. Manages Disaster Recovery and Backup requirements, providing guidance to Applications Analysts. Acts as the project lead in partnership with the Project Management Office throughout all project phases. Mentors Application Analysts. Produces and maintains custom reports, utilizing industry-standard report writers such as Crystal Reports. Reviews and approves end-user training materials and participates in training activities. Ensures high documentation standards through team guidance. Leads escalation of issues to appropriate resources. Develops policies and procedures collaboratively with the business and IT management. Manages application upgrades, testing, troubleshooting, and support components independently. Supports and troubleshoots inbound/outbound interfaces as needed. Creates reports and handles problem tickets. Maintains system documentation. Collaborates with other analysts to ensure system integrations. Serves as the primary contact for on and off-hours application support, participating in a rotating schedule. Supports change management activities for system deployments and enhancements. Uses and maintains change control procedures and standards. Creates reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to support users. Prepares detailed flowcharts and diagrams for design and analysis. Leads business workflow design focusing on efficiency and quality improvements. Assists with data collection from subject matter experts to facilitate workflow design. Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. Follows departmental documentation during orientation. Maintains compliance with PHI security requirements, including annual training and adherence to policies.
