Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a talented Cyber Solutions Architect to join our team! This role will support our Defense and Intelligence Business Unit, Cyber and National Operations sector, which provides full spectrum offensive and defensive cyber capabilities to the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC).
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Reports to the Chief Architect and their team, working closely with the Solution Train Engineers and Agile Release Train Engineers. The successful candidate will advise the Chief Architecture Team on progress and impediments to adoption and implementation of architectural components, support the development and adoption of Architectural Decisions across the Enterprise, lead technical exchange meetings with key leaders and solutioning teams, and identify new technologies in the Enterprise ecosystem. The candidate will leverage technology and engineering knowledge to unify technical strategy for advancing DoD and IC cyber programs.
This is a full-time role based in Columbia, Maryland, with expected travel of 10-20%. What You'll Be Doing: Collaborate with the Chief Architect to understand and document architecture and decisions. Communicate architecture and vision through briefings, meetings, and collaboration tools. Align development efforts with a technology strategy supporting operational requirements. Understand technical needs of programs and support with existing and innovative solutions. What Required Skills You'll Bring: TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance required. Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; 12+ years of experience or Master’s with 10+ years. Experience in agile development, SAFe, system engineering lifecycle, and cloud technologies. AWS Certification is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills and experience leading engineering teams. Security Clearance Requirement: An active Top Secret SCI w/ Polygraph clearance is required.
