Description
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, maintaining, and executing test cases with minimal direction. Your ability to perform ad-hoc testing without scripts and tools will be essential. Reporting bugs with thorough isolation and regression techniques will be key to your success. This role requires balancing a variety of deliverables, relying on your talent for managing priorities and communicating progress and risks effectively. You will work closely with team members to coordinate multi-functional testing efforts as products evolve, and you should have empathy for users to advocate effectively on their behalf. Minimum Qualifications
Bug detection, isolation, and regression skills Ability to create effective test plans from feature requirements Analytical, methodical, inquisitive, creative, and persistent problem-solving skills Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills Ability to adapt in a high-paced, informal environment 3+ years of experience in QA/QE with a passion for quality Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, or 5+ years relevant experience Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a photographer, videographer, or producer integrating advanced media with productivity and presentation software Knowledge of digital photography and video concepts, including HDR, exposure settings, depth-of-field, sharpening, denoising, etc. Understanding of subjective/objective image quality evaluation and color science Some experience automating with Swift and/or Python is a plus Knowledge of networking and related tools is a plus At Apple, base pay is part of our total compensation package, determined within a range based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The pay range for this role is $118,500 to $244,100.
