Why This Role Matters: In the role of Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will lead efforts to ensure the robustness, reliability, and performance of our software applications. Your duties will include designing, writing, and maintaining automated tests using Playwright TypeScript, integrating these tests into CI/CD pipelines on GitLab, and conducting performance testing to optimize our solutions. You will work in a cross-functional team within an Agile/Scrum environment. How You'll Contribute: Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for UI and API using Playwright TypeScript. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipeline ensuring continuous quality. Perform load and performance testing on applications, identifying potential bottlenecks, and proposing solutions. Create and maintain documentation for test cases, testing strategies, and other related materials. Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to align on testing strategies and requirements. Contribute to the design and improvement of the company's overall QA process. What we're looking for: 5+ years of experience in QA automation, with a strong focus on automating UI and API tests. Experience in Playwright TypeScript for automation testing. Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines and associated tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.). Experience with performance, usability and accessibility testing tools and methodologies. Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management skills. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Previous experience in a startup-like environment, a plus. Experience with Cloud-based infrastructure and container technologies (e.g., AWS, Docker, etc.), a plus. Compensation: Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $140,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $160,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on factors such as market location, job-related skills, and experience. Benefits Highlights: Employees who meet benefit eligibility guidelines and work 30 hours or more weekly, have the ability to enroll in Group 1001’s benefits package. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the Company’s comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plan options.
