We are looking for a skilled Data Quality Specialist to join our team. This role will primarily focus on rolling out Data Quality (DQ) measures within the organization and supporting Data Engineers (DE) and Analysts who will be utilizing data quality tools. The candidate will play a pivotal role in understanding and measuring data quality metrics such as accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. While the role will involve some dashboard creation, the main focus will be on rolling out data quality processes and acting as the first line of support for the organization. Key Responsibilities: Data Profiling & Analysis: Perform data profiling to analyze the quality of data, identifying discrepancies or inconsistencies at a high level. Act as the first line of support for Data Engineers (DE) and Analysts who use data quality tools, ensuring any discrepancies are raised and addressed. Data Quality Process Development: Develop and establish Data Quality processes, ensuring they align with organizational standards and goals. Understand key data quality measures (accuracy, completeness, timeliness) and use this knowledge to guide the organization on data quality expectations. Use SQL to analyze data, edit queries, and ensure data quality processes are being followed (note: the focus is on editing and understanding SQL, not building from scratch). Work with Ataccama or similar tools to support the development and application of data quality measures. Ensure the proper usage of the tools in line with organizational data quality strategies. Communication & Presentation: Communicate findings clearly and effectively to stakeholders, presenting data quality results and recommendations. Collaborate with various teams across the organization to ensure proper implementation of data quality measures. Required Qualifications: Experience:

Proven experience in data quality or a related field, particularly with data profiling and data quality process development. Strong experience using SQLability to edit queries and understand SQL code (building from scratch is not required). Familiarity with Ataccama or similar data quality tools.

Skills:

Strong understanding of data quality measures such as accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. Ability to analyze and evaluate data at a higher level, identifying discrepancies and ensuring processes align with data quality standards. Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Tools: Experience working with data profiling tools and techniques. Preferred Qualifications: Ataccama experience is preferred but not mandatory if the candidate has strong knowledge of other data quality tools. Prior experience working in environments with large data sets and complex data structures. Certifications (if any): Certifications in Data Quality or Data Management (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional or equivalent) would be a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
